If you watch closely, a few things stand out pretty quickly.
Most of the job is coordination. Operations staff are constantly communicating, checking timelines, and making adjustments throughout the event.
A lot of the work also happens before fans ever arrive. Setup, walkthroughs, testing, and preparation all happen long before the game starts.
The environment is fast-moving and unpredictable too. Small issues can turn into bigger problems quickly, so being organized and adaptable matters a lot in this role.

How to Become a Gameday Operations Assistant
Most people don’t start in full-time game day operations roles right away.

- Building experience working live events consistently
